Having this silent moment in your life is really... frightening

I'm somewhere near the entrance to a new phase of life, which is adulthood, but both of my feet couldn't stand steadily to embrace it. How many of you are dealing with this kinda situation, when every day you woke up in the morning or maybe late afternoon, staring blanky on the ceiling and end up spend your whole day in front of your computer? I'm used to do it back when I'm still studying and it was a bliss to have lazy days sometimes, but now since I've graduated, this lifestyle doesn't befitting to my current span. I'm tired doing nothing everyday and this kinda lifestyle is rotting slowly inside me.

I don't know how to explain it. I'm in a very deep dilemma. Seeing other people who are more successful made me feel so small and weak. My previous work life was screwed up which made my confidence and motivation went down really bad and I really need a good punch in the head right now to gather my self confidence back.

Human Dignity Is Crumbling

Just read online newspaper and I'm so devastated each time I read about snatch victims who are mostly women, died and left behind their innocent children. This is not what we want in our country. It's no longer safe to walk alone even just in front of your house. My maid, who was sweeping in front of my house, was approached by a motorcyclist pretending to ask for direction but end up her gold necklace got snatched.


I even don't understand why rape cases is increasing more rapidly and the worst case scenario, even kid as young as 4 years old already know how to do "main rogol rogol" (just like 'main masak masak' when we're kids, but in sooo different way). 10 years back, kids are not safe even with their own family members. Yes, I'm talking about incest cases. Now, even your little sisters' or daughters' friend can't be trusted.

It's no longer safe even with our own family and friends. Then, who should protect them? I pitied those innocent kids. Why do these children had to suffer from our own selfishness? Aren't we supposed to protect these children from this mental sickness? Why the number of perverts and pedophiles are still increasing? I can't imagine myself having kids and other sickos just simply "touch n go" my kids and destroy their future. It's like a plague and it won't stop spreading.

I'm offended by our own mistakes.
