The past few days, most of the things happened around me would sucked. With Pak Lah increasing the petrol price, everything got worse. It felt like your heart is being stabbed vigorously for 1000 times. Seriously, before the price gone up, I get about 5.02++ liter of petrol for RM10. Now, I get only 3.70+ liter of petrol with the same price!! Previously, it costs me about RM15 for me to travel from Gombak-Cyberjaya-Gombak and now RM30 would not even reach half tank of my car fuel. I really have to reconsider where I should do my internship or else my car would engulf my pockets like a waterfall (duit mengalir mcm air).
Today I went for 2nd interview (sucessful ones, not the half way interview I had in my previous entry) , which means it has some sparkling light that I might get the position. The interviewer was very pleasant and even though I was a bit nervous at first, the interview turned out to be very warm and inspiring. I really hope that I get this one.
After the interview, I went to help my mum bringing lunch for my brother and his colleagues since they're participating SMIDEX 2008 & East Asia SME Convention at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Many companies joined the convention and one thing I like being in any conventions or exhibitions are the lucky draws and freebies.
There's one booth where they attract the visitors thru their interactive-wireless game. At first I didn't bother to tried it, but when I saw other people playing, I can't hold myself to try it. The 1st prize was a 3D 2N trip to Penang (wow), 2nd prize were Logitech Webcam + 1G Pendrive (not bad), and as for the 3rd prize were RM20 Jusco Voucher and USB PC Vacuum (ok la). Whoever gets the highest points will win. Currently, the highest points of the day was 26, 2nd was 24 and 3rd was 19. Each person gets to play 3 times. The 1st try, I get 24 points, which is not bad. But I noticed there are currently 2 person who gets the same points as mine and the lady who was in charge of the booth told me, the winner will be selected through lucky draw if they have same points. The lady asked me whether to continue or I stick with the 24 points and if I want to proceed to take another try, the 24 points will be ignored. So I take the challenge because I wanted to win the 1st prize and my mum who are standing next me was so eager to see me playing. So the 2nd try was not that good coz I scored 19 points and the final try I get 22 points. Well, I was quite disappointed but hey, at least I don't need to compete with other two people thru lucky draw to win right? (since I'm not so fortunate when it comes to lucky draws). The winner will be informed after the exhibition ends for today........ and yeah, I've won the 3rd prize! (better than nothing).
And also..., I get a free Perodua T-Shirt............... and it's from a lucky draw that was held at the Perodua booth.
Okayyy.... Guess I have a lil bit lucky sunshine today.
