My working place...Today I came 30 mins late to work for the first timeee..! Thanks to the LRT that broke down and made us all late for our work.
I woke up at 7.40am and get ready as usual and went out from my house about 8.05am. I drove my mums' car since my car had to go for some repair. When I was half way to the LRT, I remembered that I left my money in my car *hint* (purposely put all RM1 note in my car so I have small change to pay parking fees at the LRT Gombak parking lot). So I had to drive back to my house to take the money. When I drive back to the LRT station, it was already 8.12am. I still can make it before 9am.
When I want to park my car, I noticed the parking lot was not fully occupied as usual *hint*. I though maybe Selangor is having their state holiday or something. When I was walking towards the entrance, I saw many people walking around and looked a bit tense. I took out my Touch n Go card and queue up at the counter to topup my card. Then I heard this LRT officer talk to one of the people who are also queuing at the counter saying "LRT rosak. Sila ambil bas RapidKL ke Stesen Setiawangsa dan ambil tren dari sana." I was like wft!? It was already 8.20am dude and the train from Gombak is out of service?! And you expect us to travel by bus that was already packed with people and there are only one bus to go to Setiawangsa while there are still many of us at the station?
I tried to call my supervisor but my hp got barred *another hint*. Used the public phone to call my mum and supervisor. Drove my car to Damai LRT station and took the train to Ampang Park. Arrived office at 9.30am!!!
