Ulu Yam Gathering

Yesterday, me and my best friends (plus with our hubbies =P ) went to Ulu Yam to spend some times together in celebrating Merdeka Day. Well, at first we had some trouble to choose between Genting Highlands, Sunway Lagoon and Ulu Yam for our 1st "best friends couples" gathering. Since we don't have extra budget to spend in Sunway Lagoon and Genting Highlands, so our last choice was Ulu Yam.

I woke up around 8am and cooked baked sausage, mushroom chicken spaghetti and white rice while sheppa cooked spicy chicken for the day. We bought black pepper chicken at ayamas Tmn Melawati before we convoy to Ulu Yam. We reached Ulu Yam waterfall around 1pm and later Aini and her hubby Abg Am also arrived 5 mins later.

So we pay up RM1 each to enter the waterfall area, went down the stairs, walk across the hanging bridge and finally reach the destination. Suddenly it rained heavily so we had to cover ourselves and our food in front of the public washroom. Someone said it's too dangerous to swim in waterfall if it's raining. So we waited till the rain stop and at the same time find some place to camp our goods.

What about my hubby? Well, he's too busy taking pictures of us since he was not in the mood to join me and sheppa soaking in the cold river coz he got fever...

When it comes to Ulu Yam, who wouldn't miss the chance to go horse-riding at Kem Kembara Ulu Yam? After we had our short time soaking at the cold waters, later we head to Kem Kembara Ulu Yam to pay a visit to the horses (read the article about this place here).

Aunty Rohaya, the owner of the ranch greeted us and invited us to ride Wind. Seems like the horses that I knew back in 2 years ago like Ninoy and Magic died due to injury. *sad* I like riding Ninoy coz he's really easy to control and very obedient.

I admit, I was a bit panic and phobia when I ride him at first..
Don't want to break my arms again >_<

And now my hips are sooo painful! Haven't trot on a horse for quite some time. Hope I can go there riding horses again. Anyone plans to go there? We can go together some other time ;)
