Raya Journey to Seremban & Jelebu...

Last Saturday me and Naz went to Seremban to visit Reen's house. I departed from Gombak and went to Cyberjaya to fetch Nazri. Around 12pm, we head to Seremban and arrived the town around 1 pm. I had no trouble to get to Seremban town, but the problem starts when I started to get panic because most of the roads are one way. Before that, I did some study on Google map on how to get to Reen's house but unfortunately, my printer's ink dried up. So I sent a copy of the map to Naz and he kept it in the laptop.

Naz was my co-pilot and yet we still got lost somewhere in Kampung Pantai where we already passed the junction to Reen's house almost 10km. Luckily we arrived at her home around 2pm ( almost 1 hour lost ) and we were greeted by Reen and her mother.

We chatted a lot and were served Ayam Lomak Cili Api and sambal tempoyak mentah which blown my head real hard. I never tasted raw tempoyak and grind cili api but the experience eating it are definitely addictive. After that, me, Naz and Reen went to Jelebu where her mother have fish farming pond that's full of talapia, tongsan and patin. But we went to Reen's home 1st to have a toilet stop before we actually went to the pond.

Here's the look of Reen's house and the location is quite windy.

Another view of Reen's house.

Notice anything weird in this picture? Look carefully because you're about to see a live....

AYAM KAMPUNG!

... and apparently the hen was "incubating" her eggs...

...... and also the hen is very very angry coz me and Reen like to poke her.. >:D The hen's angry chirp sounded cute to me.. lol

Reen trying to get the dead talapia out from the pond...

After few minutes of photoshoot at Reen's classic home, finally we drive back to the fish pond. It was raining very heavily that day.

The view of the fish pond. The rubber tree plantation is just opposite of the pond.

Candid shot of Reen, her lil bro, her mum and a "hidden Mr. Naz"... >_>

This fish food does smell like IAMS I tell u! And even cats like it.

The fish feeding ceremony. There's a lot of talapias in the pond and how I wish I could fish there..

At this very moment, I really2 want to eat sambal tempoyak mentah... Really syiok ok! Fell like want to drive to Jelebu again.

To Reen, thank you for your hospitality during my visit there. It's nice to chit chat with your mum and explore the world you live in mother nature environment. Next time I'll stay at your place and we go fish together okie =).
